Family Ancestory
My parents were both born in mumbai India and so was I. My mum has 3 siblings her oldest sister went to USA and came here 4 years ago. She has lived here ever since. Her second older sister was the first to come to New Zealand and followed by her brother and then my grandparents. My dad, mum and i came here in 2010 when i was five ears old. My grandparents from my dads side are from India and never came to new Zealand. I used to come to New Zealand to see my grandparents when they moved here and we decided to move because my mums whole family were here. One interesting fact about my grandparents is that both my grandparents on my mums side were in World war I and World War II.
My dad has 2 sisters and both of them moved to the US. Both my grandparents on my dads side died when I was very young and I still remember things about them like my grandpa would make pink pudding that was so yummy and i still remember how it looked. I have 4 cousins in the US and a lot of cousins on my mum side over here. We went to see my family in th US when I was very young and it was for my cousins wedding. Now my cousin has a daughter who is also my cousin and her name is sophia. My dads family came to New Zealand for my first holy communion because my cousin Jessica is my godmother. That was the first time they came and they have never come since. I went back to India in 2016 and it was my first year in Carmel. I met my cousin Ashwin and his mum is my dads second older sister. My cousin is only a year older then me and it was nice seeing my family again. It was like a family reunion. I got to visit my dads old high school in India and a lot of other cool places. One of the places was St Francis of Xaviers tomb this was special as my middle name is Francess. My dads father who is my grandpa was in the Indian navy and he also experienced World War I and II.
